First things first, to our dedicated volunteers...Thank you!
Our volunteers provide over 3,000 hours annually to run the fair. Who are our volunteers? They’re teachers, parents, students, undergraduates, retirees, and professionals in the fields of science, art, or business. Many of our previous winners become volunteers because they know first-hand the value of the fair. Some volunteers are earning their A+ hours, some volunteers are Boy Scouts earning their Eagle Scout Award, some are members of the National Honor Society earning their required service hours. All service groups are welcome. Sport teams are welcome. Youth groups groups are welcome. We have a variety of jobs from moving supplies and equipment to completing data entry tasks! During the Fair, our volunteers are easy to spot – they’re the ones wearing the bright red vests. When you see their vests, we hope the color will remind you to:
STOP those volunteers and praise them for the untold hours they cheerfully provide to make the fair possible.
And...YOU too can be a part of the Mastodon Fair team!
