Free programs from the National Gallery of Art
Looking for a way to enhance your art classes? The
National Gallery of Art is offering a great resource by making its
collections accessible to everyone. Over 120 free distance-learning
programs-including videocassettes, color slides, teaching packets,
CD-ROMs and DVDs-are available for your school's use. These resources
meet K-12 national standards in the visual arts, but are also designed
for use in non-art school subjects such as history, literature, and
foreign languages. Programs can be checked out at no cost to the
school with no limit to the number of program titles requested. For
a catalog of all available program titles visit http://www.nga.gov/education/classroom/loanfinder.
